Privacy policy
Last updated: [REVIEW — date]
This document is a reasonable starting structure, not legal advice. Every [REVIEW] marker below needs your specific details, and the whole thing should be read by a lawyer familiar with Indian IT services contracts before the site goes live. A services company’s terms need clauses a SaaS template does not: IP assignment on payment, change-request handling, acceptance testing, warranty period and mutual confidentiality.
Who we are
Arsaviva Technologies Private Limited, registered office at Ward No. 1, A.T. Road, Bokakhat – 785612, Assam, India; working office at 2nd Floor, Keshab Tower, GS Rd, South Sarania, Lachit Nagar, Guwahati 781007. Contact: bd@arsaviva.com.
What we collect
Only what you give us through the enquiry form on this site: your name, business name, phone number, email address, and the description of your requirement. We also keep standard server logs containing IP address, browser type and pages visited, which are used for security and to understand which pages are useful.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry and to discuss whether we can help. That is the only purpose. We do not add enquiries to a mailing list, we do not run follow-up sequences, and we do not sell or share your details with anyone.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for as long as they remain relevant to the business relationship or a potential one. You can ask us to delete yours at any time by writing to bd@arsaviva.com, and we will do so and confirm. [REVIEW — under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 an indefinite retention period is difficult to justify. Your lawyer should set a stated period here.]
Client data during a project
Data belonging to our clients and handled during a project is governed by the contract and non-disclosure agreement signed for that engagement, not by this policy. Client data is never used for any purpose outside that engagement.
Where a project involves AI processing, that processing is carried out through OpenAI’s API, which means the relevant data is transmitted to that provider for the specific task. The provider’s current data-handling terms are confirmed in writing as part of the project agreement before any such processing begins.
Cookies
This site sets one session cookie, used only to protect the enquiry form against automated submissions.
We also use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It sets its own cookies and collects usage data including your approximate location, device and the pages you visit. You can opt out using Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to bd@arsaviva.com.
